Sunday Stampers plus Grungepaper books

Phew, just in under the wire for Sunday Stampers ;-)  Well I have had a busy week.  The theme over at Hels this week is Brown.  I've made a little canvas doll.  Her shoes are brown too but they look black here.  Actually Hels uses the titles of her fave songs to inpire the theme and the song this week was Brown Eyed Girl, well my girl has one blue eye and one brown eye haha.  As is required I have done a little bit of stamping - just the 'circles' stamp.

I can also show 2 books I've made as gifts using grungepaper for the cover.  I used brusho to colour the pages of both books.  They've been left mostly blank inside with a bit of stitching and a few pockets with quotes in.  The heart on Pat's book is made from Tyvek and the flowers on Tracey's is made from fabric paper.

Love your books Anne - I have lots of Brusho but haven't used it for ages - might have to get it out again - thank you for commenting on my blog - my posts are few and far between at the moment - finding it hard to 'get going' at the moment

Hi Anne your doll is beautiful. :)

Your books are looking very pretty too. Just love the colours :)

Great to hear you found some freezer paper..hope the p&p isn't too high & it arrives soon :) I was hoping to email you but can't find your addy..

Unfortunately, we don't have a Dunelm Mill near us.. will have a look online.. I was wondering.. does the calico need 'treating' in any way before you can use it.. sorry if that sounds a dumb question!

Hope you are having a lovely week.

Hugs Gez.xx
