I've been making some soft toys for the children that DD looks after. As well as what's shown here I've made some glove puppets. I'm also going to make a Chinese doll and an Indian doll for her. They are all my own designs apart from the bird. The bird is approx 4" high, the mouse approx 8" , the duck approx 8"and the owl stuffy approx 10".
I love seeing Elizabeth's pictures she takes when she's out and about so thought I'd show a few I took in Manchester last weekend when I met a friend there. Manchester still has trams so I thought it would be interesting to show a picture of the lines and a tram. I also took a few pics at Manchester Piccadilly railway station.

Love your toys, the first bird is fantastic, wonderful work. Hope you had a good time in Manchester, not been there for years, it looks nice. xx
We had a tram quite locally to me years back, but they've all gone now...I remeber the sparks when it rained! I think they should come back! Happy Crafting!

Gawd, isn't Piccadilly a huge station! I like the out and about shots too. how lovely the toys are, I really like the fabric you used for the bird. they'll go down a treat!
your toys, especially your designs are delightful. The kids must love them.
I never saw a UK station that bright and i do not remember trams in Manchester nor do i remember it looking so cheery and clean. i think of it as always raining and overcast. it always seemed a great shopping town.
Your toys are delightful, lucky kids.
Piccadilly station looks quiet for a change....lol

Love the toys, bet they went down a treat. I'm not familiar with Piccadilly but love stations when I'm not late catching a train - so many lives, criss-crossings, beginnings, middles and endings.
Am loving that mouse Anne, and the owl comes a close second, you are sooo clever. Have been messing with guilding flakes, am covered in them, so is the desk and the floor. Sunday is mega cleaning day so just come up for an hour before I cook, well I can't say lunch cos it's already 4pm lol.

Sorry I'm late, because I always love out and about posts. It's fun to see places I'll probably never visit. What impressed me, other than the architecture, was how clean everything was. Very, very impressive.
And I loved the cute little animals, including the bird. Nice choice of fabrics, too.
Gorgeous makes... I too am busy making toys but mine are Hares! Off to Manchster tomorrow to meet up with some WOYWWers... Neet put out the invite.... interested ?
