365 Journal and stuff

It's that time again - time to show our journals.  Pop over to Kate's to see more, or if you're new to this, find out more :-D  I only noticed when cropping May's that I'd missed the bottom portion of the page :-/

A friend asked me to make another Wood Nymph and a doll's chair for her granddaughter.  The second picture shows the doll better I think.

My grandson was allowed to look after these 2 cuties for a couple of weeks - they've gone back to the farm (mostly hens) where he helps out now.   They're Indian Runner Ducks.

He's only 11 but when he went with his dad to buy some chicks some months ago he said he'd like to work there so his mum got him to ring up himself to ask :-)  This is him at the farm; looking like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth - don't be fooled haha.  And then him winning bronze at a National Karate Championship in February.

Love the look of May's journal, I think you have good staying power as I thin I would have packed it in by now.
Fab photo's of your Grandson and it is nice that he is interested enough to ask for a job himself.

The wood nymph and her chair are precious. So your grand so is already into chicks. Oh I see they were duckies. What a determined and spirited young man, he is.

I'm not sure if you read that I've lamented over the glue I've been using on my file folders (and before that, my spiral bound note book), but your page gave me the perfect solution to the glue problem. Your April calendar page is just the thing I need to make this glue problem go away. Thanks for the inspiration.

I can see why you are so very, very proud of your grandson. What a fine young man and future leader, I'm sure. Being a martial arts (karate) champ doesn't hurt his image, either. Congrats to him AND you. I'm sure you inspired him in some way.

I like your doll, but I believe I like the photo on the left better. More detail, I think. Of course, what do I know. I have a horrible camera, so nothing is ever in proper focus.

Congratulations to Lewis. I think it's wonderful him working at the farm looking after the ducks and hens.
Great calendar pages, you beat me to it again must get mine posted now.
Your doll and chair is absolutely fantastic and as I have seen it in real life I know how amazing and stunning it is, lucky little girl who gets this. xx
