Fabric painted T-shirt

I like to do a bit of fabric painting (and dyeing) and had this plain brown t-shirt from M&S which I decided to brighten up a bit. I've used a lovely 12"x12" stencil - 'Windsong' from http://www.thecraftersworkshop.com/ they do 6"x6" versions which are scaled down. They can be used for lots of different projects including paper and household projects. I used Jones Tones Pearly paint in copper as this is quite thick so doesn't run. If you've never done stencilling before and fancy having a go it's best to use a dabbing motion with the paint to help prevent getting the paint under the stencil at the edges of the design. This particular type of paint doesn't need to be heat set as some fabric paints do. I sprinkled a little glitter on while the paint was still wet. Again this type of paint can be used to adhere beads but I stitched a few on once the paint was dry.
